NetHosting’s Cloud, Dedicated, and VPS server hosting products support new CentOS operating system update: CentOS-6.1.

Orem, UT NetHosting, a leading hosting service provider since 1994, continues to offer full support of CentOS, including CentOS-6.1, on its Cloud, Dedicated Server, VPS Server, and Virtual Hosting service.

CentOS recently released an update of its open source operating system: CentOS-6.1. Preceded by CentOS-6, which was released on July 4th of this year, the recent update includes a number of enhancements to its overall functionality, including new commands, greater yum capabilities, and more.

CentOS has been lauded as the most popular Linux distribution on web servers today and is comprised of a massive, worldwide community of volunteer developers, system and network administrators, and many other Linux aficionados.
